2026 Scottish Parliament Election
CNER fought May's 2026 Scottish Parliament election across seven of the ten constituencies that make up the North East Scotland Region. MSPs elected from these constituencies will represent the people for which these rail improvements will have the greatest impact.

These goals are realistic within the time period of the next 5 year session of parliament.
Candidates for the main parties who signed up to this pledge were given the opportunity to provide a quote to express their thoughts on our campaign's proposal. You can find these below.
We are proud to say we also secured an agreement to meet with Duncan Massey (Reform UK), and Yi-Pei Chou Turvey (Lib Dem).
