Protecting the Formartine and Buchan Way

In the beginning, we received a lot of concern from the community on the cycle paths. The Formartine and Buchan Way and the Deeside Way run on the path of the former railways, CNER issued a statement to clarify that we intend to retain these paths for active travel and community use even after a railway becomes operational.
