Our first candidate endorsement!

Fergus Mutch, SNP Candidate for Aberdeenshire West has endorsed our campaign, he has pledged to do all he can to help us realise our goals if elected. He is the first North East candidate to respond to our campaign. Fergus said; "These are serious and well thought through proposals which have the potential to revolutionise public transport across the North East.

"The Campaign for North East Rail has my wholehearted support. It's exactly the sort of ambitious, yet achievable vision that our region needs if we're serious about green travel, connecting communities and investing for the future." We welcome Fergus' support and look forward to a North East with more rail. Candidate endorsements are an important part of our campaign, we want elected candidates to join together and write a joint letter to the new transport minister after the election demanding a feasibility study be commissioned into our proposals.
